Using Filmmaking as a Reflection Tool
​
Students often don’t realize what they’ve learned until they talk about it. Utilizing filmmaking as a tool for reflection provides students with an opportunity to share their impact and insights with the world. Students are able to utilize the resources that are already at their fingertips: smart phones, chrome books, and iPads to create mini documentaries that summarize their learning.
This session will demonstrate how to utilize filmmaking as a tool for reflection in service learning, project based learning, or any other form of experiential learning.
